Mal Magorel’s jazz, funk and soul-infused vocals can be heard in all corners of her hometown. The powerhouse performer has worked with many of Winnipeg’s finest musicians (including Ron Paley, Danny Kramer, Jonathan Alexiuk, Ariel Posen, Nadia Douglas, and Helen White), and she has established her place as a cornerstone of the local music scene. Mal's original songs from her debut release "Malfunktion" have been regularly featured on CBC radio.

Mal is an exceptional talent whose impressive range and power is skilfully controlled with delicate precision, and her contagious smile and friendly stage presence makes her a pleasure to watch. Mal is ecstatic to make her return to the TD Winnipeg International Jazz Festival.
