Mike Swickis is a seasoned guitarist and composer based in Winnipeg, Canada and has performed around the world as a sideman as well as a leader. His music is a mix of rock, funk and jazz and showcases his adept abilities as a diverse and talented guitar player.

Influenced by players such as John Scofield, Jeff Beck, and Danny Gatton, Swickis brings forth modern sultry tones and funky grooves while maintaining core elements found in traditional jazz music. This year he will be joined by virtuoso electric bassist Martin Theissen and Chilean-born Jaime Carrasco on drums.
