JazzFest is nothing without its 300-odd volunteers. And when nearly 44% of all Canadians 15+ volunteer in some capacity, it’s important to ask: why?
On the third episode of the Alleyways podcast, we’re talking with two JazzFest volunteer mainstays: Barb Polson, who’s been with the festival since its very start 30 years ago, and Amita Khandpur, emcee and coordinator the bar crew, on their favourite memories, what keeps them coming back and one particularly windy day in the Old Market Square.
