Dan Keding is a Canadian jazz guitarist, composer, and arranger who has performed extensively in Canada, the United States, and Spain. Dan has modelled his sound and style after canonical jazz legends of the mid-20th century, though his musical breadth reaches much further. He has toured with numerous vocal groups, written for various ensembles including big band, string quartet, and orchestra, and regularly learns new instruments such as cajon, marimba, and kashaka to expand his sonic library. His immediate influences include the brilliant minds of Thelonious Monk and Bill Frisell, but extend to 20th century classical composers Igor Stravinsky, Béla Bartók, Leos Yanácek, and others.

The Dan Keding Trio features accomplished and sought-after musicians Devon Gillingham on upright bass and Tetyana Haraschuk on the drums, both of whom bring their own unique musical interpretations to Dan’s original compositions.
