About Evan Miles Quartet

Evan Miles is an up-and-coming jazz pianist on the Winnipeg scene. He is entering his fourth year of study in his Bachelor of Music in Jazz Piano Performance at the University of Manitoba. With his quartet, Evan strives for emotionally engaging, intense, hard swinging music as well as a high degree of interaction among the bandmates. The group, comprising Rudy Donisch on tenor saxophone, Sam Fournier on bass, and Josh Bonneteau on drums, has a long history of collaboration, dating back to 2017. The quartet is excited to provide a mix of classic standards as well as originals at their debut TD Winnipeg International Jazz Festival appearance.
