Chickadee is a jazz quintet led by bassist Fred Warner. Drawing on both jazz and folk traditions and inspired by the beauty and tenacity of nature, Chickadee aims to be eclectic, experimental, and exciting. Just like its namesake, Chickadee is always active and always looking for the 'next thing'; one moment funky, the next introspective, and the next jubilant. Along with Warner, Chickadee is made up of musicians Paul Klassen, Nolan Gottfied, Ava Persaud, and Tirian Plett.
