The band is led by the talented Daniel Hollenberg, saxophonist, composer and bandleader, who is behind some breathtaking original compositions. This creative group doesn’t just follow the beaten jazz path, it redefines it. Their music is a bold fusion of bop, avant-garde, blues and modal jazz, tinged with diverse musical and cultural influences from around the world. From Australian roots and South Asian sounds to Jewish melodies and West African rhythms, Impressions Jazz Group creates a rich, vibrant canvas of sound that serves as the backdrop for magical improvisation. And the best part of all? You don’t have to be a jazz expert to enjoy their music! Their energetic, inspiring sound is accessible to all, which means everyone is invited to join the party.
