Celebrate the Jazz Age with us this summer! Jazz Winnipeg proudly presents its series of Jazz Age Garden Parties at the Dalnavert Museum. This series of six jazz and jazz-adjacent concerts updates the spirit of the Roaring Twenties for a new century this summer in Winnipeg.

Enjoy music, cocktails, light fare, and garden party activities (including croquet!) at the garden of the Dalnavert, a small Victorian mansion nestled in the heart of downtown Winnipeg.

Twenties attire and hats are encouraged. Concerts will go ahead rain or shine.

Jennifer Hanson's reputation for great vocal chops, appearances singing national anthems at NHL games and touring the country with her band has attracted the attention of fans of all ages.

Her torchy, seductive vocal style is among the finest of current jazz singers, while her stage presence is that of the classic generation of singers like Rosemary Clooney, Julie London and Linda Rondstadt. She's definitely not just another voice in the crowd. Well, maybe she is, but she’s louder and perhaps more on pitch.

Her repertoire runs the gamut from the jazz standard songbook and torchy heartbreakers to a large selection of blues, rock and R&B.

She also knows the anthems of at least 10 countries, just in case.

The trio features vocalist Jennifer Hanson, guitarist Murray Pulver, and bassist Gilles Fournier.
