An accomplished singer, Todd Martin has been fronting the Dirty Catfish Brass Band for the past six years, as well as performing regularly with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra and the Ron Paley Big Band. In October of 2018, Martin assumed the role of chansonnier in the Winnipeg premiere of Frankenstein!!, a pan-demonium for chansonnier and orchestra.

As a French hornist, Todd has performed with some of the finest orchestras in Canada, including the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, L’Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal, the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra, and Orchestra London.

Martin has also performed on two Juno Award–winning albums, most recently for The Bros. Landreth album Let It Lie, which features both his horn and harmonica playing.

Todd is highly committed to music education. He is the harmonica instructor at the Manitoba Conservatory of Music and Arts in Winnipeg, and is an avid clinician and teacher on the French horn. For the past three years, he has also been an instructor for the Bridge Program at Hugh John McDonald School.
