The Solutions are a 7-piece soul band based in Winnipeg. Their influences range from Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin, and Wilson Pickett to the modern-day soul of Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings. The Solutions get the crowds going no matter where they are. They love the music they play and it comes across in their performance everytime. The band came together in the fall of 2007 when drummer Eric Feuer approached a few members individually with the idea. After the very first gig, it was obvious to everyone that the band needed horn players. Right away, they replaced their fake keyboard horn sounds with the real thing and they became the full band they are today. A few gigs in they were already opening for Winnipeg’s own Moses Mayes at The Pyramid Cabaret. Since then, they have enjoyed playing all around Winnipeg at places such as The Cavern, Times Change(d)/High and Lonesome, The King’s Head Pub and many other venues. Always adding new material to their shows and constantly getting the crowd revved up, The Solutions look forward to playing more and more shows.
