Fall brings some big, but exciting changes to Jazz Winnipeg. This week we’re saying farewell to our longtime Executive Producer, Paul Nolin, and have started the search for the newest member of the Jazz Winnipeg team. Lynne Stefanchuk, who has been with the organization for 13 years, will be stepping into the role of Acting Executive Director and we’re so lucky to have the organization in such capable and experienced hands.  While Paul will continue to program the festival and book shows for Jazz Winnipeg’s concert series in the interim, we’re looking for someone to permanently fill the brand new role of Program Director.

Our Program Director will do so much more than just book shows — they’ll have an artistic vision for the festival, talent-buying and concert production experience, coordinate our outreach activities, and not be afraid to roll up their sleeves and do whatever it takes to make all of our shows happen. This new position will oversee programming and production of the annual TD Winnipeg Jazz Festival, Jazz Winnipeg’s Concert Season, outreach programs and more. Additionally, the successful candidate will be tasked with building and growing partnerships among Winnipeg’s many vibrant arts and community groups. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Program Director will be responsible for representing Jazz Winnipeg as a leading arts organization in the local, national and international jazz and cultural community.
