One of the new voices we’re enthused about bringing to this year’s Jazz Festival is none other than smouldering jazz siren,rising R&B star Andra Day. Not only does she have a chill-inducing voice and a striking look, but Day has an inspiring story too.
While everyone seems to be buzzing about Ms. Day, it might seem that she has just appeared out of relative obscurity to be nominated for GRAMMY awards, perform with Ellie Goulding on the GRAMMY stage, and be headlining festivals across North America. Andra Day is about to be literally everywhere with her soon-to-be ubiquitous face to be featured on tens of millions of Coca-Cola cups this summer.
